What does a service engine soon or check engine light mean?
This basically means that the computer system in your car has seen a parameter that doesn’t meet specifications. It could be as simple as a loose gas cap or as serious as damaging the emissions devices on your car. We highly recommend that you have it at least checked before taking the vehicle on long trips. Most of the time light repairs are relatively reasonable.

What does a check engine light that is blinking while driving mean?
This means that the control system is exceeding 1.5 times the federal test limit on emissions. This also means that catalyst damage is occuring, we recommend getting it checked immediately as it could cause serious damage to catalytic converter or other components on the car.

How long will it take to diagnose my car?
This is the toughest one to answer. Diagnostic routines usually lead us to a full diagnosis in one to two hours, however depending on the symptom and system we are working on it can take several hours just to determine the failure of the system, after that we will have an accurate time estimate of when the vehicle will be ready.
